CCU welcomes 51 new faculty members

Fifty-one new faculty members were welcomed to Coastal Carolina University recently from across the country and the world.

Of the 51, the College of Science nabbed 18 new lecturers and professors; 19 will teach in the College of Humanities and Fine Arts; eight are in the Wall College of Business; 4 in the College of Education; one in Kimbel Library and one in University College.

“The faculty joining the University come from a variety of backgrounds, academic preparation and experiences,” said Provost Ralph Byington. “They are extremely focused on the academic success of our student and the profile of Coastal Carolina University.”
