CAB sponsors Toys for Tots Drive

Toys are being collected for the Toys for Tots holiday drive, which will continue through Thursday, Dec. 15, at Coastal Carolina University.

Designated donation spots are Kimbel Library, the Lib Jackson Student Union, the Chant 411 desk (in the Union) and Tradition Hall’s 24-hour desk. 

Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

Gifts for teenagers are the most needed; suggested items include board games, ear buds, books and journals. All donated toys must be new and unwrapped.

All toys must be turned in by Dec. 15 for distribution by Christmas.

This event is being sponsored by Coastal Activities Board (CAB), which is a part of the Office of Student Life. Student Life provides opportunities that empower students to capitalize on their collegiate experience by taking an active role inside and outside the classroom.

Kimbel Library is located at 376 University Blvd., and the Lib Jackson Student Union is at 106 Spadoni Park Circle on the Conway campus. The Chant 411 desk is located inside the Lib Jackson Student Union. The Tradition Hall 24-hour desk is located at 3400 Elvington Loop.
