Alumna starts Worn and Branded NYC

Lauren Greico ’00 has recently created her own clothing line called Worn and Branded NYC, that sells soft, comfortable and worn-feeling T-shirts.

Greico graduated from Coastal Carolina University with honors and with a bachelor’s degree in finance. For the past 17 years she has worked with various firms on Wall Street in New York, starting as a financial adviser at Smith Barney and ending up at Fidelity Investments as a senior director and product and project strategist in March 2015.

“Since graduating I have also been fortunate enough to be able to buy a vacation home in Surfside Beach, so I am always here visiting my second home in South Carolina, and each visit always consists of a visit to CCU and the bookstore.”

Greico, who as a member of the sorority Phi Sigma Sigma, has a 6-year-old daughter Sophia “who has bled teal since she's been able to talk and walk, thanks to her mommy, and one day she hopes to be a student at Coastal Carolina University herself.”

“Coastal taught me a lot of things and molded me into the successful business woman I am today,” said Greico. “My experience at Coastal I believe was meant to be, and I wouldn't be the person I am today without being a proud alumni of CCU!!
