Michael King Bio
This year’s keynote speaker is Michael King, owner of KingOne Properties in Myrtle Beach. King, a native of Myrtle Beach, started his real estate career at 19 years-old while he was a student at Coastal Carolina College. Over the years, he has marketed, sold and developed properties that have won local, regional, national and international recognition. KingOne Properties has locations in Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Ft. Lauderdale and Toronto.
King is not only a prominent businessman, but he is active in his community as well, with a focus on helping child-affiliated charities. He is currently the co-chairman of fundraising for an Horry County safe house for mothers and children who are victims of domestic violence; he is president of 2 Live Beyond, a local charity that raises money for eight different children’s charities; and he is an advisory board member of the WALBER foundation, an organization that helps children have the courage to achieve their dreams. King is also the co-chairman for The Grant Center for Real Estate and Economics’ advisory board.
King resides in Myrtle Beach with his wife, Victoria, and son, Christian, and daughter, Giselle. He and his wife will be welcoming their third child, Luciana, in March.
