Wall College wins CCU fundraising challenge

The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration was the winner of the inaugural #givingTEALtuesday college challenge championship, a friendly giving competition between all five campus colleges. Giving Teal Tuesday, a University-wide fundraiser created for the purpose of not only showcasing the importance of giving back to the University but the overall impact giving has on current and future students, took place on Nov. 28.

The Wall College raised $6,615.62; the total amount raised by the University was $71,515. Faculty and staff in the Wall College had the highest percentage of faculty/staff giving, the highest total raised and the highest average gift size! The Department of Marketing and Hospitality, Resort and Tourism Management led the way in the creation of a new student scholarship, raising more than $1,400 for marketing and HRTM students.

The money raised on Giving Teal Tuesday will go toward Coastal Carolina University student scholarships.
