Wall Fellows embark on international trip

International travel opens the door to learning about different cultures and ways of life. Each year, the junior class of Wall Fellows embarks on an adventure to a country or countries of their choice. This year, the Class of 2018 will be traveling to Iceland, England and Ireland from May 11 through May 26. The Wall Fellows are excited to experience other cultures and see the world through a different lens.

During the students’ stay in Iceland, they will present their findings on research projects to various Icelandic companies and offer recommendations on what they believe will work best for the company in specific areas. In addition to the presentations, the students will have the opportunity to tour the U.S. Embassy, connect with CCU alumni and take the Golden Circle tour. While in London, the students will visit The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), ride on the London Eye, and visit Parliament, Buckingham Palace and so many more amazing places that will feature London’s culture and history.

In addition to the cultural and historical tours, the students will visit a CCU alumni at Santander Bank,  and a Wall Fellow friend at Orange Business Services in London. During their stay in Dublin, the students will be visiting Google headquarters, which is the headquarters for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will take a Cliffs of Moher tour. From the plane rides to the company tours, the students are excited to have an adventure and learn more about other companies, countries and one another.
