Organizational mission or general goals:
Our mission is to protect your family as if it were our own by providing sound legal advice on planning for your family's future. We want you to have a plan that will serve your goals and your family's needs so that when you leave our office with your final legal documents, you will have peace of mind.

Primary services provided:
Elder law, including Medicaid planning, Aid and Attendance Veteran's benefits planning, Irrevocable Asset Protection Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, and planning for long term care. Assistance with selection of nursing homes and rights of residents of nursing homes. Referrals to elder advocates and other helpers. Disability planning including living wills, health care powers of attorneys, durable powers of attorney and long term care insurance claims. Estate planning including wills, revocable living trusts, family LLC's and strategies for probate avoidance. Business succession planning. Elder abuse and neglect. Conservatorships and Guardianships. Probate administration, trust administration, probate litigation.

Primary clientele served:
Elderly couples, adult children and their aging parents, retired couples who have relocated to the beach, family members who are looking after a sibling, parents of disabled children, small business owners.

Employees and/or volunteers:
Occasional paralegal assistance, periodic interns.

Staff members eligible for professional credentialing and credentialed staff members employed:
Elder law attorney, Margaret A. Wadsworth, has a J.D. law degree and has been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts since 1994 and in South Carolina since 2013. She is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for Veteran's Claims and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Approximately 100 + per year.

Organization accredited or certified by an outside agency or association:
Margaret A. Wadsworth is an accredited representative with Department of Veterans Affairs, and a registered representative with the Social Security Administration.
