Anett Nemeth
Name: Anett Nemeth
Hometown: Budapest, Hungary
Year in School: Sophomore
Major: Management
Concentration: Entrepreneurial Management
I initially chose to attend Coastal because I was recruited to play volleyball here. Our head coach is Hungarian just like me and he is looking for players overseas all the time. He asked me if I was interested in coming to the United States and he told me about CCU. I wasn’t interested playing anywhere else in the U.S. so I came here!
Meet Anett
Favorite professor: Larry Smith, Ph.D. – He is really open-minded and he helps us all the time.
Favorite class: I like the lecture-based business classes.
Campus Involvement (organizations, activities, etc.): Volleyball team!
Favorite trait of #CCU: It is not too big but not too small either. It has a really nice campus, a really nice atmosphere. You get to see some of the same people around campus but not the same people all the time.
Favorite Netflix series: How to Get Away With Murder
Item you would bring to a deserted island: My phone
Dream job: Professional volleyball immediately after college but then a management job for a major company.
Motivating factor in life: Big goals! For example, in volleyball, I want to play professionally for an Italian team. Because this particular league is one of the best in the world, I know I need to work really hard to make it happen.
Favorite quote: “Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” – Muhammad Ali
