Emily Vrettos

Hi, I’m Emily! I am a junior in college now, but when I was a junior in high school I toured Coastal Carolina for the first time. It was the first college tour I ever went on, and after that no other school compared. I knew instantly CCU was where I was meant to be, even though it is 15 hours away from my home in New Hampshire. Coming to a school so far away is nerve-wracking, but the people and atmosphere of Coastal made me so comfortable.

Getting involved on campus helped me so much with the transition of going to a school far away. I am a member of Alpha Xi Delta, where I have met some of my best friends and have gotten countless opportunities to work with Autism Speaks, a philanthropy I hold close to my heart. Also, because of Coastal, I have gotten a head start in my career by being a marketing intern in the Office of Communications. By being an involved student here at CCU, I have learned so much and met so many new people!
