I chose to attend CCU because as soon as I stepped on campus for my tour I knew that this is where I belonged. I could see myself walking to class with a big smile on my face. I also loved the fact that I was not going to be a “number” to the professors and that they were going to know my name.
My experience has been wild and I have only been here for a year and a half. After a month-long hurricane evacuation I knew I was in for a ride. From library cram sessions to clubs to my involvement with WCCU Radio, I have had so much fun and made so many memories. Being here has helped me realize that teaching is what I was born to do. Originally, I was a marine science major but after much thought I changed to elementary education. I am so happy to have switched and I can’t wait to see where Coastal takes me next.
