I chose Coastal Carolina University originally for the marine science program, but I switched to psychology and stayed. Why? Coastal is a unique University, with a beautiful campus, great professors, and an amazing student body and events for pretty much anything one may think of. This University has an obsession for the color teal and shows its support around every corner of campus.
My experience so far has been good overall and has had plenty of funny moments. Some of the most memorable include attempting to find parking all night as a freshman, presenting statements in Mandarin during class, and even being a resident adviser and having fun throughout training. I personally am glad I stuck with coastal, despite the seemingly annual hurricanes.
