My name is Josh McCaslin and I come from a town just outside of Greenville, S.C. While studying abroad in Germany for my senior year of high school, I started looking at Coastal. My parents toured the campus and sent pictures to me, since I was thousands of miles away. I applied right away and when I was accepted, I knew this was the place for me. My first time on campus was for Orientation Weekend. From the moment I stepped on campus, I fell in love with everything the school had to offer.
The past four years have been the best four years of my life. I am a founding father of the Zeta Omega chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order and I helped start the German Club. I have studied abroad in Europe with the Wall College and last summer I completed an internship for a German manufacturing company in Atlanta. I have tried to benefit from everything CCU has to offer. The faculty and staff have guided and helped me along in my academic career. With the knowledge and experience I have gained during my time here, I landed a job part time in the spring working for a German logistics firm in Charleston while also taking classes to finish up my degree.
