Hi! My name is JP Kinney and I am an interdisciplinary studies student studying event entertainment and production. I am originally from Tinton Falls, N.J., and moved to Myrtle Beach in 2017 with my girlfriend, Kayla. I transferred to Coastal Carolina because I fell in love with the beautiful campus, the amazing faculty and the ability to just be who I wanted to be and learn how to grow as an individual. I am currently a senior and I am excited for my last year, but am extremely sad to be ending my time at CCU. I am most excited about my time at WCCU Radio. I am currently the radio station manager and I love being part of the community both on campus and in the local area.
By far the best CCU decision I have made is becoming associated with WCCU Radio. The experiences I have had hosting my own radio show and serving as the station manager have been amazing. WCCU has provided a connection to the community here on campus in a way I have never seen, and I am excited to see the station continue to grow.
