Looking for a college that would enable him to meet great people while providing plenty to do both on-campus and off, Mark Wright turned to Coastal Carolina University. Hailing from Indian Land, S.C., the town is so far north that it is actually considered a suburb of Charlotte. By moving 150 miles south he re-located more deeply within our South Carolina borders but more importantly he planted himself right in the middle of #TEALnation.

Mark was immediately drawn to our popular intelligence and national security program. With ambitions to work for the Secret Service or perhaps the FBI, this academic path made perfect sense. Complimenting his academic decision at Coastal has been an important social decision he made. Mark joined Sigma Phi Epsilon and has been incredibly satisfied with the experience his fraternity has given him.

“Coastal Carolina University has positively impacted me by giving me the opportunity to join Sigma Phi Epsilon, which has opened many doors for me to be a student leader on campus,” Mark says.

Working at Costco while going to school, Mark also fills his free time by pursuing his hobbies of hunting and fishing. With a few semesters left at CCU, we hope Mark continues to embrace leadership opportunities and chase his goals.
