CCU announces second week’s Vax to the Max scholarship winners

Olivia Stringfield, DaShawn McCoy, Eric Cha, and Michael Weaver were chosen as this week’s $2,500 scholarship winners as part of the Vax to the Max COVID-19 vaccination incentives program.

The winners of this week’s Vax to the Max incentives program scholarships are Eric Cha, DaShawn McCoy, Olivia Stringfield, and Michael Weaver. Cha is a freshman marine science major from Malvern, Pa.; McCoy is a sophomore information technology major from Columbia, S.C.; Stringfield is a senior marketing major from Aiken, S.C.; and Weaver is a senior middle level education major from Little River, S.C.

The the Vax to the Max incentives program will award four $2,500 scholarships each week for 10 weeks in Fall 2021 and 10 weeks in Spring 2022; and two Grand Prize Scholarships – full tuition, room, and board for one semester at CCU. Winners will be announced every Friday.

Students are encouraged to get vaccinated and upload their vaccination records for a chance to win. Students who would like to get vaccinated at Student Health Services on campus are asked to make an appointment online or call SHS at 843-349-6543. S.C. DHEC will continue to offer on-campus vaccination clinics throughout the semester, with dates to be announced as they come available. Students who are already fully vaccinated are also eligible to participate in the vaccination incentives program.
