CCU announces Vax to the Max scholarship winners for weeks three and four
Week three winners are:
• Trystan Felix, a freshman music education major from Conway, S.C.
• Elianna Guzman, a freshman public health major from Conway, S.C.
• Kendall Hale, a senior biology major from Myrtle Beach, S.C.
• Kara Riskus, a freshman political science major from North Huntingdon, Pa.
Week four winners are:
• Lauren Anderson, a junior sociology major from Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
• Callie Davis, a junior exercise and sport science major from Simpsonville, S.C.
• Trinity Ghering, a junior biochemistry major from Conway, S.C.
• Bethany Wilson, a freshman communication major from Leesburg, Va.
The Vax to the Max incentives program will award four $2,500 scholarships each week for 10 weeks in Fall 2021 and 10 weeks in Spring 2022; and two Grand Prize Scholarships – full tuition, room, and board for one semester at CCU. Winners will be announced every Friday, excluding Thanksgiving week.
Students are encouraged to get vaccinated and upload their vaccination records for a chance to win. Students who would like to get vaccinated at Student Health Services on campus are asked to make an appointment online or call SHS at 843-349-6543. SCDHEC will continue to offer on-campus vaccination clinics throughout the semester, with dates to be announced as they come available. Students who are already fully vaccinated are also eligible to participate in the vaccination incentives program.
CCU also awarded 80 prizes to faculty and staff members who participated in a separate Vax to the Max incentives program.
