CCU announces Vax to the Max scholarship winners for week seven
The winners of week seven’s drawing are:
• Reece Brown, a freshman biochemistry major from Apex, N.C.
• Danielle Johnson, a graduate student in the Master of Communication program from Myrtle Beach, S.C.
• Marquez Rouse, a junior information technology major from Aiken, S.C.
• Mathew Stanek, a Ph.D. student in the marine science program from Portsmouth, Va.
The Vax to the Max incentives program will award four $2,500 scholarships each week for 10 weeks in Fall 2021 and 10 weeks in Spring 2022; and two Grand Prize Scholarships – full tuition, room, and board for one semester at CCU. Winners will be announced every Friday, excluding Thanksgiving week.
The University is also offering an additional incentive – eight students will be awarded their own personalized, reserved parking spaces for the Spring 2022 semester. The winners will be drawn the week of Nov. 19.
Students are encouraged to get vaccinated and upload their vaccination records for a chance to win. Students who would like to get vaccinated at Student Health Services on campus are asked to make an appointment online or call 843-349-6543. Conway Medical Center (CMC) offers the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in the Lib Jackson Student Union Commuter Lounge (Room A107) every Thursday from 2-4 p.m. Simply walk in and get a free vaccine. Appointments cannot be made. Individuals attending this clinic are asked to complete the CMC COVID-19 vaccination form and bring it with them. To find an off-campus vaccine provider, click here.
Students who are already fully vaccinated are also eligible to participate in the vaccination incentives program.
