The latest farmers market on Coastal Carolina’s campus featured a couple of brand-new vendors. Freshman marketing majors Sam Sciarra and Nicole LaMastro had a booth for the jewelry they sell under the name, Earthy Sammyy.

The roommates visited the first farmers market of the semester in September and decided they wanted to give it a try from the other side of the table. They saw success right from the beginning.

The campus farmers markets are sponsored by Sustain Coastal. The next market will be held on Prince Lawn on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come learn about campus and community organizations who help advance sustainability in the community and shop from local vendors. Please help reduce single-use plastic by bringing a reusable bag.
