Adjusted Services During The Coastal Comeback

Students currently connected with ADS can schedule appointments via Accommodate. All appointments and meetings will be held by phone or in online spaces (Zoom, Skype, Teams).

When the University returns to face-to-face instruction, students connected with ADS can book an exam at the Laurel Hall ADS Testing Center. Exam booking takes places via the web-based online system, Accommodate.

Career Services will provide appointments in an online/telephone format. Students or alumni who want to make an appointment should call for more information. Online resources such as resume samples, Big Interview online interview preparation, and CCU Handshake for jobs/internships are available at coastal.edu/career

Chanticleer Bookstore
Hours:
The Chanticleer Store is open to the public Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 12 – 4 p.m. until Sept. 7.
Starting Sept. 8, the Chanticleer Store will resume normal hours of Monday – Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed on Sunday.

Online Order Pick-Up Process: Once you receive an email alerting you that your online order is ready for pick-up, enter the HTC Center and locate the queuing line for pick-up in the main concourse. Check in at the concession stand next to the entrance of the Chanticleer Store using the online order number and CINO Card. You will not enter the Chanticleer Store for online order pick-up.

Spring 2020 Rental Textbook Return Information: The grace period for spring rental returns has been extended until Aug. 22, 2020, at 3:30 p.m. All rental textbooks are to be returned in person at the Chanticleer Store or by mail using the free shipping label found on the Chanticleer Store website at https://coastal.bncollege.com/shop/coastal/page/rental-book-return.

Kimbel Library

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.,  and Sunday, 2 – 10 p.m. 

The library will be open only to CCU students, faculty, and staff with an active CINO Card. The CINO Card must swiped or tapped at the Bryan Information Commons doors to enter. Face masks are required in the library facilities.

The second floor of Kimbel Library where the books are located is closed to visitors. Book requests submitted through the library account will be pulled by staff and an email sent when the item is ready for pick up at the circulation desk. There will be no course reserve textbooks available for Fall 2020.

There will be a limited number of seats and study rooms available in Kimbel Library and Bryan Information Commons.  Students may select their seat through the library’s reservation system.   

Librarians will be offering virtual reference and research consultations this year.

Mail Services 
Department and resident mail and package pick-up Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Resident students are to utilize the student mail pick-up windows located to the left of the main entrance to Sands Hall.
Department representatives are to come to the side door of Sands Hall. 

Interior access to the Post Office is limited to those that are utilizing the USPS Service Counter that is open Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 11 a.m.
