Donnelly's Video

Donnelly Wolf will graduate from Coastal Carolina as a prime example of the experiential learning opportunities available at our University. When he walks across the stage, he will carry with him hours upon hours of experience in the field.

Mind you, we mean in the field literally. After discovering the magic of digital broadcasting while in high school, he pursued his interest from the moment he stepped foot on campus. Over the past four years, Donnelly has served as the play-by-play man for Chanticleer lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball events. His experience with the athletic department didn’t just come behind the microphone. He also produced various sporting events, hosted his own segments and served as a videographer.

“Thankfully, all of my supervisors let me do whatever I really wanted to in terms of expanding myself, and because of that, I feel like I am a better marketer, communicator and digital broadcaster,” Donnelly says, giving a nod to the individuals of Chanticleer Athletics who let him explore his talents.

Donnelly’s development while at Coastal didn’t just come with the athletic department. As a PGA golf management major, he has taken on various internships over the past few years, working at courses in Georgia and Tennessee. He even interned for North Carolina-based Kangaroo Golf USA, a company that specializes in motorcaddies.

The impressive resume he has built at CCU has already paid off. Donnelly accepted a position with the Tennessee Golf Foundation and will serve as its director of marketing. His secret to success, besides taking advantage of every experiential learning opportunity available, is to look ahead and make wise choices.

“I am always looking at how this decision today could impact my future,” Donnelly explains.

We thank Donnelly for his many contributions to CCU and we congratulate him on his job offer. This young man is a true talent and we know a prosperous career is awaiting him.
