Burroughs & Chapin establishes annual scholarship fund at CCU
Fourteen $3,500 scholarships will be awarded each academic year to students who earn a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need as determined by CCU’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. One of the scholarships, the J. Bratton Fennell Burroughs & Chapin Annual Scholarship, will be awarded to a local student who is an accounting major.
“Burroughs & Chapin has been a tremendous asset to the Grand Strand and a steadfast supporter of Coastal Carolina University for numerous years,” said CCU President David A. DeCenzo. “The Burroughs & Chapin scholarships are a perfect example of the company’s unwavering commitment to support the residents of this area. We are very thankful for this generous donation and the remarkable impact it will have on our local students.”
