Friday, April 16 - Deadline to Apply for Fall Graduation

Graduation applications were due on Friday, April 16, 2021. A late fee will be applied to applications received after this date. More information regarding the graduation application process can be found here.

If you have already completed your graduation application, you can check the status of your application by signing into WebAdvisor and clicking on "Status of Graduation Application" under the Academic Planning section.

Tuesday, Oct. 12 - Honor Stole Ordering Page Opens

If you are eligible to wear an academic honor stole at commencement, you will receive an email, from the Office of the Registrar, notifying you of eligibility along with instructions on how to purchase a stole. Questions regarding qualifying for honor stoles or purchasing honor stoles can be emailed to graduation@coastal.edu. The academic honor stole is a white satin stole that bears the University seal on one side and your Latin academic honors or program recognitions in script on the other side. Both the seal and script are custom embroidered. To be eligible to wear an academic honor stole for commencement you must have earned a minimum 3.50 GPA, have completed at least 60 hours of college coursework at CCU, and be graduating with a bachelor’s degree (Graduate students are not eligible for Latin Academic Honors). Students who are members of the following programs may also be eligible to receive an honor stole: Dyer Fellow, Honors Program (HTC Honors College Graduate), Jackson Scholar, Swain Scholar, Teaching Fellow, or Wall Fellow.

Tuesday, Nov. 2 - Deadline for a Student's Name to Appear in the Printed Program

Your graduation application status must state “Your graduation application is being processed in the Office of the Registrar” by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2 to have your name appear in the printed program. You can check the status of your application by signing into WebAdvisor and clicking on “Status of Graduation Application” under the Academic Planning section.

Monday, Nov. 15 - Deadline to Purchase Honor Stoles without a Late Fee

If you are eligible to wear an academic honor stole at commencement, you will receive an email, from the Office of the Registrar, notifying you of eligibility along with instructions on how to purchase a stole. Questions regarding qualifying for honor stoles or purchasing honor stoles can be emailed to graduation@coastal.edu. Tuesday, Nov. 16 -Tickets Available to Claim

As a degree candidate planning on walking at commencement, you are required to claim a graduate ticket regardless if you plan to have guests in attendance. You may claim up to six (6) guest tickets in addition to your graduate ticket. Tickets will be available to claim under your CINO ID number by visiting tickets.coastal.edu and selecting “Commencement Tickets.” Tickets will be available starting at 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 16. Access to the tickets will continue until 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

Thursday, Nov. 18 - Deadline to Purchase Regalia Online

Be sure to order your regalia online (cap, gowns, tassels, and hoods) by Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, to receive it in the mail before the commencement ceremony. After Nov. 18, regalia must be purchased in the Chanticleer Bookstore. All sizes are not guaranteed to be in stock at the bookstore.

Additional tickets are not guaranteed but are subject to seating availability. Rush tickets, if available, will be accessible starting Wednesday, Dec. 8, at Noon ET, until tickets are exhausted or by Friday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m. ET.

Tuesday, Dec. 14 - Fall 2021 Commencement Ceremonies

Coastal Carolina University’s Fall 2021 commencement ceremonies will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 2 and 6 p.m. inside the HTC Student Recreation and Convocation Center.

2 p.m. Ceremony will honor the graduates of the

Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts

6 p.m. Ceremony will honor the graduates of the
