The Edwards Digital Studio is a three camera high definition video production facility. It features a NewTek TriCaster switcher, 16-channel PreSonus Audio Board, and fully dimmable Expression lighting console. The easily configurable sets and large studio space allow students, faculty, and staff to produce their own live shows, interviews, and newscasts. Courses currently utilizing the digital studio include Video Production, TV News Reporting, Television Studio Production, and Acting for Non-Majors.

  • Hands-on Experience

Media Fellows broadcast a 54-second video about college events and news.

Design and Technical Theatre students drafted and built the entire news set in the Digital Production Studio.

  • Post-Production Experience

Students have the opportunity to get intimate, hands-on experience in front of the camera and in the control booth on our new Tricaster production switcher.

  • Lights, Camera, Action

Students working in the Digital Production Studio have access to the Presonus audio board for advanced audio mixing and the ETC lighting board -- translating their skills on and off screen.
