Upsilon Pi Epsilon
Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) is the computing honor society and was created in 1967 at Texas A&M University. Ross Foultz is the faculty advisor for UPE.
2023 UPE Induction Ceremony
This year's induction ceremony and luncheon took place on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Allen Ballroom in the Singleton Building. Eligible students have been contacted directly and but must complete the Membership Intent Form to be included in the honor society.
Eligibility
Membership to Upsilon Pi Epsilon is by invitation only based on eligibility requirements. To be eligible for election to membership, undergraduate students must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Rank in the upper 35% of the class
- Attained not less than 3.0/4.0 grade-points
- Completed at least 45 semester hours of college work including fifteen (15) semester hours in the basic courses in the Computing and Information Disciplines.
- The Chapter shall have the right to set any limit above this minimum attainment as a basis for eligibility. More information is available on the national UPE Membership page.
