CCU JAZZ COMBO AND BIG BAND CONCERT

The CCU Jazz Combo performs instrumental and vocal arrangements of staple jazz repertoire, focusing on the art of improvisation in a small ensemble setting, under the direction of Jesus Fuentes. The CCU Jazz Big Band features traditional instrumentation covering the music of Count Basie to Charles Mingus and heavy metal to contemporary jazz, under the direction of Emilio Terranova. Fuentes and Terranova are assistant professors in CCU’s Department of Music.
