SOLIDARITY PLANET (Brazil)
From small associations to large industrial cooperatives, Solidarity Planet travels throughout Brazil to show solidarity economy enterprises in the city and in the countryside. These selected episodes from the series proves that a solidarity economy, public policies, and alternative management strategies are possible for a sustainable world. Each episode deals with a theme related to this mode of production and social organization and presents successful experiences, public policies, and alternative management strategies to the capitalist model. Producer Julio Matos will be on hand for a question and answer session. The film will be shown in Portuguese with English subtitles.
