The Inclusive Pedagogy Workshop is designed to support faculty members’ efforts to examine their current teaching practices and infuse inclusive pedagogy into their teaching. The workshop has the following goals:
- Focus on curriculum reform and the opportunity to dive deep into syllabi to review and/or transform to become more culturally inclusive.
- Give faculty access to experts in inclusive pedagogy.
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues from across campus.
The workshop seeks to honor the experience of faculty who have been doing the work of diversity and inclusion through lived experience and classroom teaching, and those who are just beginning the journey. The workshop is open to any faculty member and associated faculty, including lecturers and teaching associates. Faculty from all departments are encouraged to participate.
This workshop is offered once a year in partnership with the Center for Teaching Excellence to Advance Learning (CeTEAL).
