Graduate Academic Advising

Role of the Graduate Advisor
Graduate advisors play a major role in the academic life of graduate students.  Coastal Carolina University Graduate Advisor responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Serving as program liaison
  2. Submitting admission recommendations
  3. Initiating degree audit changes
  4. Coordinating graduate fellowships/assistantships with the Dean of Education
  5. Serving on graduate committees
  6. Supporting program research initiatives
  7. Advising and mentoring students as they work toward the completion of degree requirements

Graduate Degrees Advising Checklists

CCU Graduate Program Application Deadlines:
July 1          November 1          May 1*
*Students must begin the MAT program in Summer I
