Exchange Partner Programs
Coastal Carolina University is proud to have established approximately 20 exchange partnerships with accredited universities around the world, and every year, more students decide to study abroad for an entire semester or two.
In most cases, students who choose an exchange partner program can pay CCU’s in-state tuition rate while registered for classes abroad, which is a tremendous discount for out-of-state students and a great way for South Carolina residents to save! Exchange programs offer Chanticleers the chance to have a more immersive experience, and because these programs are designed to be more immersive than the average education abroad program, applicants should be organized and independent-minded.
To be eligible for one of the CCU's exchange partner programs, students must FIRST meet with the Education Abroad Services Coordinator, Lori Patterson during advising hours:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
- Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
To make your appointment, call the Center for Global Engagement: (843) 349-2213. Students are also REQUIRED to discuss education abroad with their Academic Adviser for assistance identifying academically appropriate options from the list below of exchange partner program options.
