Faculty-led Programs
Coastal Carolina University's faculty-led programs offer eligible students the option to participate in a short-term, credit-bearing experience that combines academics with overseas travel and is led by CCU faculty.
Depending on the program, students are generally abroad between one and three weeks. Many faculty-led programs are oriented towards specific majors, though some courses will fulfill Core Curriculum requirements. Students who travel abroad with CCU faculty can gain first-hand experience by:
- Conducting field research where the ocean is the classroom;
- Gaining foreign language proficiency in a host country where practice is key;
- Understanding business structure and practices in some of the largest economies outside of the U.S.;
- And more!
