Laura M. Stewart Annual Scholarship 
for continuing students

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:

1. Be enrolled as an undergraduate student at CCU;
2. Be majoring in English and interested in becoming a teacher;
3. Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative CCU GPA;
4. Be a junior or senior (60+ credit hours) at the time of the award;
5. Maintain full-time status and demonstrate satisfactory degree progress; and
6. Submit additional requirements described below.

Additional Requirements

Submit a one page essay describing your career aspirations for teaching in an Horry County High School.

Failure to submit additional requirements will constitute an incomplete application and will not be considered.
