What research has led to this request?
Journalism faculty have determined students' writing level is sufficient for JOUR 201 after they complete ENGL 101. Removing ENGL 102 as a prereq will also allow Journalism students to begin JOUR 201 earlier in their time a CCU.
What impact will this request have on existing academic programs?
None.
What financial costs are associated with this request?
None.
If NO change in cost is anticipated, how is this possible?
This is a minor change only to remove a prerequisite, so there will be no change in how the course itself is offered.
