What research has led to this request?
The departmental assessment (via ETS scores) regularly finds international business an element that students struggle in. Our management major requires an international management course, and adding a broader course to the list of options for this course will give students opportunity to gain exposure to international business topics.
What impact will this request have on existing academic programs?
The addition of CBAD 401 to the international management course option for general management majors will give students more choices for this selective option
What financial costs are associated with this request?
none.
If NO change in cost is anticipated, how is this possible?
CBAD 401 is already offered regularly for other programs (e.g. marketing, international management concentration). This change will simply allow it to count toward a general management major's program.
