Register for the AP Institute

Registration Process

1. To reserve your space in the institute, please complete the 2018 AP Institute Application:

Registration Fee:
$100.00 before May 3, 2018
$150.00 after May 3, 2018

2. To enroll in the graduate course AP Institute teachers must:

  • Complete the CCU non-degree seeking graduate application form
  • Identify the AP institute you will be taking and the AP course you are or will be teaching
  • Identify priority level
  • Be currently teaching an AP course and assigned to teach again
  • Be assigned to teach an AP course and have not received a waiver or grace period option
  • Teach an honors or pre-AP course; AP back-up teacher

3. Send the following:

  • Completed CCU non-degree seeking graduate application
  • Completed 2018 AP Institute Application
  • $45 Application fee
  • Letter of recommendation for participation from the supervising principal (must be received in order to receive AP Certification)

Additional information

  • Teachers are responsible for their own transportation, meals and lodging.
  • Textbooks and tuition are free for South Carolina public school teachers through a S.C. Department of Education grant. South Carolina private school teachers must pay published in-state tuition and the cost of the textbooks. Out-of-state teachers must pay published out-of-state tuition, the cost of textbooks and the registration fee.
