Ready to Apply?

Applying to a graduate program requires planning and forethought. Carefully review the admission requirements and application deadlines of your target program here and assemble the various types of information and documents. Do not send supporting documents to professors or to academic departments. Applicants are fully responsible for meeting application deadlines. Once you have submitted an application no further changes are allowed. If you have questions or problems contact the Office of Graduate Studies at 843-349-2394 or graduate@coastal.edu.

International students who completed education outside of the United States are required to submit official academic records and certifications of degrees for all postsecondary institutions attended. In addition to original transcripts, foreign transcripts must be translated into English and evaluated course-by-course to the American grading system and course equivalences. This evaluation can be requested through any member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Members can be found on their website: www.naces.org/members. All transcripts must be sent directly to the Coastal Carolina University Office of Graduate Studies from the credentialing entity.

To help you prepare for completing the application you can view a mock version of the Sample Graduate Admission Application. (You can not submit this version of the application.) Please be sure to have all your information easily accessible as the application will time-out after 30 minutes. When all the application sections are complete and the application is successfully submitted, you must pay a non-refundable $45 application fee. You will receive an email when your application and application fee are received. If you think your application involves a waiver of the application fee, contact the Office of Graduate Studies at 843-349-2394 or graduate@coastal.edu.
