Patrick Mason to Speak at Coastal Carolina University’s Real Estate & Economic Summit on September 29

Conway, SC--Patrick Mason, one of the Southeast’s most respected authorities on in-migration research trends, is scheduled to speak at Coastal Carolina University’s Real Estate & Economic Summit on September 29 at Pine Lakes Country Club.

Mason, who has more than 40 years’ experience in destination marketing and coastal real estate, will present a snapshot of the social, cultural and economic impact of the more than 112,000 affluent newcomers who are expected to arrive in the Carolinas over the next 25 years.

Mason, the co-founder of the Center for Carolina Living and the popular website, CarolinaLiving.com, joins an impressive lineup which includes keynote speaker Lawrence Yun,  Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research at the National Association of REALTORS®, Dan Mitchell, a libertarian economist and senior fellow at the Cato Institute whose work has been published in the Wall Street JournalNew York TimesWashington PostNational ReviewForbesUSA Today, and Investor’s Business Daily, and Robert F. Salvino, Jr., CCU professor and Associate Director of the Grant Center for Real Estate and Economic Development, who has conducted research, monitored economic trends, and developed forecasts for industry and government entities in the coastal Carolinas.

The Summit, scheduled for September 29 at Pine Lakes Country Club, is administrated by CCU’s Grant Center for Real Estate and Economic Development.

The cost for the September 29 event is $60 which includes a networking breakfast and luncheon recognizing the winners of CCU’s inaugural real estate awards. These awards, made possible through a gift from The Tony and Carrie Grant Fund, celebrate excellence in residential, resort, commercial and government/public/non-profit sectors.
