Scheduling an Appointment

University Housing requires all residents to schedule a move-in appointment in order to check-in and receive their room key. Beginning in early July, University Housing will initiate the sign-up process for Fall Move-in. Residents will be notified via CCU email when their individual appointment options are available for selection. Appointment emails will be systematically distributed to residents over a two-day period, based on housing assignment. If you do not receive an appointment email by mid-July, please contact University Housing at 843-349-6400. 

Residents will select their move-in appointment online in MyCoastalHome. The appointment process allows residents to select the best time that works for them and their helpers. Appointments should be selected at least 48 hours in advance and can be rescheduled if your travel plans change.

Approximately 24-48 hours before your move in time, you will receive a reminder email about moving in. Make sure you read that email in case we had to adjust the move-in process. For those residents moving in August 13-15, 2021, the reminder email will include a QR Code you will need to show to the staff at the express check-in tents in order to move forward in the check-in tents. We encourage you to print this email with the QR Code and take a screenshot of it to save on your phone.
