Fall Semester Closing

University Housing Closes for Fall Semester

It is hard to believe it is time to close the residential facilities for winter break. All University Housing facilities will close on Friday, Dec. 14 at 12 p.m.

Residents returning for spring semester are not required to move out. Take home any valuables or items you may need over the break, as you are unable to access your room after closing. Make plans to leave within 24 hours after your last exam or no later than Friday, Dec. 14, at 12 p.m., whichever comes first. Bridge and Nursing 2+2 residents will be emailed separately about closing and the HGTC exam schedule.

If you are not returning to CCU (or HGTC for Bridge) for spring semester, complete the Intent to Vacate form in MyCoastalHome. Schedule an appointment with your RA no less than 24 hours prior to your planned departure. You should check out within 24 hours after your last exam or no later than Friday, Dec. 14, at 12 p.m., whichever comes first.

RAs will conduct closing floor meetings prior to the end of the semester. All residents are expected to attend to receive vital information regarding University Housing fall closing. Below is a link to the Winter Closing Newsletter with more information. Have a relaxing break and see you in 2019!
