Arts and Humanities Global Experience Program (AHGEP) Student Ambassadors Travel to Goldsmiths for Global Cultural Conversations
Between March 5 and 12, 2016, AHGEP’s Student Ambassadors—twelve highly motivated and accomplished undergraduate students pursuing various disciplines in the Arts and the Humanities—traveled to London, UK, to participate in five workshops and symposia hosted by Goldsmiths, University of London. The diverse topics covered during their experience engage the students actively in global cultural conversations and environments. Goldsmiths, renowned for its investment in global cultural learning as well as for the groundbreaking work conducted by their faculty and graduate students in cultural studies, provides an ideal educational and cultural environment for the AHGEP student ambassadors to engage with global culture while networking with international experts.
Not only did the Ambassadors make presentations on specific topics of global significance while at Goldsmiths, they also will showcase their collaborative work and experiences during the 2016 Celebration of Inquiry, where they will organize, participate in, and moderate three sessions on global cultural conversations.
