English, Concentration in Composition, Rhetoric, and Linguistics

The Composition, Rhetoric, and Linguistics concentration in the English major provides you with the skills and experience necessary to communicate with diverse audiences for a variety of purposes. You will consider the rhetorical, structural, and sociocultural impact of language use—skills that are widely recognized as important in the professional world. Additionally, if you engage in an internship course, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience with these skills in professional settings.
