History
Through an expansive offering of exciting courses, our programs in History teach you the critical skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing economy. Our award-winning faculty have an impressive variety of specializations, such as the African diaspora; the history of medicine; public history; military history, and religious history. They also offer courses that focus on the historical developments of regions across the globe through the ancient, medieval, and modern periods, including the United States, Europe, Latin American, the Middle East, East Asia, and the Southern U.S.
The BA in History provides you with the expertise that employers most commonly expect in the college graduates they hire, including critical thinking, oral and written communications, digital technology, professionalism and work ethic, global and intercultural fluency, and the ability to synthesize meaning from a vast range of information.
