The concentration in Health Communication teaches you how to design health messages, campaigns, and how to effectively communicate about health in interpersonal and group settings. This innovative program focuses on how patients, practitioners, and the general public communicate about highly complex scientific and culturally-sensitive topics. Minor in Health Communication
The Health Communication minor (starting Fall 2022) teaches about health as it relates to popular media, relationships, and strategic campaigns. Communication majors can choose this minor, unless in Health Communication concentration.
