Political Science
Political Science is designed to introduce you to the enduring questions of politics and the institutions and political life of the United States and other regions and countries of the world. The discipline of Political Science covers five different sub-fields: political philosophy, American politics, comparative politics, international relations, and public administration. As a political science major, you can explore each of the subfields with a concentration in domestic politics or global politics.

The minor in political science is designed to allow students outside of the Department of Politics to specialize in courses that are relevant to their major. While a student from any major can minor in political science, this minor is especially well suited for business, communication, history and philosophy majors. The minor is structured to allow students considerable flexibility in choosing courses.
