We serve EVERYONE! The office serves all students, faculty, staff and the local community. The office strives to provide a supportive and comfortable campus atmosphere that enhances living/learning experiences and supports achievement and success for students. The overall goal is to enhance the academic, social and cultural development of all students through a variety of programming, education and student organizations.

Mr. Joshua Moore currently serves as the Director to the Office of Intercultural & Inclusion Student Services. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources Management and a Master of Arts in Education in Counseling and Student Affairs in Higher Education from Western Kentucky University. He is also a doctoral student at Texas A&M University-Commerce. Mr. Moore has worked as a Student Affairs professional for over ten years, with previous experiences from Western Kentucky University, Morehead State University, Texas A&M University-Commerce, and Wittenberg University in areas such as Residence Life, Multicultural Affairs, Student Organizations, First Year & Transition Programs, Mentorship Programs, Student Conduct, and Bias Incident Reporting and Response. Outside of higher education, Joshua has served on many committees through various state, regional, and national organizations. Joshua is excited to be a part of the Teal Nation and cannot wait for the opportunity to engage with each of you.

Cassandra Boyd, Ed.D., is the Student Inclusion and Retention Coordinator for Intercultural and Inclusion Student Services at Coastal Carolina University. In her role, she serves as an institutional resource, promoting strategic diversity efforts by offering faculty and staff training tools to enhance their understanding of the major trends in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Boyd also explores diversity-centered recruitment and retention initiatives with campus and community partners to support an inclusive and dynamic learning environment.
Boyd's career in higher education encompasses more than 14 years of experience in various student affairs functional areas, including leadership and service, multicultural services, student success initiatives, food insecurity initiatives, and a women’s resource center. Prior to joining CCU, she served as both an administrator and a faculty member of communication and first-year experience at Lone Star College in Houston, Texas. At Lone Star College, Boyd was honored with Staff Excellence Awards and the 20/20 Cultural Beliefs Award. She held other positions within student affairs at Texas A&M at Galveston and Florida International University.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Savannah State University, her master’s degree in higher education administration from Florida International University, and her Ed.D. in higher education leadership from Sam Houston State University. She published chapters that included topics focused on the differences in the perceptions and uses of educational benefits for veterans as a function of race/ethnicity and gender in Exemplars of Conducting Archival Data Analyses: A Collection of K-12 and Higher Education Studies. Her areas of academic interest include access to higher education and inclusive excellence.
As the child of a military career father, Boyd is a world traveler. She has traveled and lived in South Korea, Germany, Tanzania, Spain, Italy, and the United Arab Emirates. She enjoys reading, exploring new cultures, and spending time with her family.
