Getting Involved
Getting involved on-campus is an important part of higher education in America.
There are many reasons to get involved. Here are just a few:
- Making friends and building a sense of belonging to the University community;
- Developing leadership skills that future employers will value;
- Exploring things you’ve never done before; and
- Always having something fun and interesting to do!
There are many events and activities offered by the Center for Global Engagement, Campus Life, and other departments across campus. The International Student and Scholar Services unit of the Center for Global Engagement organizes a variety of events such as Coffee and Conversation Hours, Game Days, Cultural Presentations, local trips, and more.
