Mail Services operates as a Contract Postal Unit of the U.S. Postal Service in the City of Conway and offers almost all products and services of a regular post office, plus mail processing for students who live in University Housing and interoffice mail delivery for faculty/staff.

Mail Services picks up student mail (and packages) from the Conway Post Office and then processes it on campus before inputting it into the University mail tracking system. Generally, mail is processed by 2 p.m. Students are strongly encouraged to wait until they have received an University email alerting them that they have mail available at the CCU Post Office before proceeding to Sands Hall. Mail Services does not permit the early release of mail – no exceptions.

New for Fall 2020

Due to COVID-19 protocols, physical mailboxes will not be utilized but the students will still have a mailbox number assigned to them.  All mail including packages will be processed through the CCU Mail Services tracking system.  Students will receive an email in their Coastal account alerting them that a piece of mail and/or package has been received at the University's Post Office for them.  Students will then retreive those items from the new Student Mail/Package Pick Up windows located at the front exterior of Sands Hall under the new teal awning.  Students will need to bring their CINO Card ID to retrieve their items.

Mail Services now accepts passport documentation for students

The U.S. Department of State has recently approved CCU as a passport acceptance facility for students, faculty and staff, and the general public. Mail Services accepts passport paperwork by appointment only. Passport acceptance hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. To make an appointment or for more information, please call 843-349-2156.

6. What address should be used for students who live in University Housing to receive and send mail and/or packages?
Since the U.S. Postal Service has heightened security measures, please make sure that all mail pieces being sent from the University bear a valid return address and for identification purposes. Personal mail must also contain a valid return address. Mail pieces that do not have proper identification have no way of being returned and may be sent to Unclaimed Mail Facility. For students who live in University Housing, your CCU return address should be the same as your CCU mailing address:
STUDENT'S FIRST and LAST NAME (no nicknames)
   CCU Box ----- *
   107 Founders Drive
   Conway, SC 29526
*A student's 5-digit mailbox number is found on their WebAdvisor page under Room Assignment.

7. How do students find their mailbox numbers?
Students who live in University Housing should check WebAdvisor for this information.

8. How do students pick up packages that have been sent to them?

PLEASE NOTE: Mail delivery and mailboxes are available only for students who live in University Housing.
