Dale Quinn, lecturer of mathematics, joined the Coastal Carolina University faculty in 2007. He earned a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University in 1993 and a master's degree from the University of Kentucky in 2007.
Prior to his graduate work, he was a manufacturing engineer for Ford Motor Company and Visteon Automotive Systems for more than 20 years.
His teaching interests include college algebra, trigonometry, calculus, math for elementary education majors, and math for the business and social sciences including finite math.
His areas of expertise are manufacturing process design and continuous improvement and quality engineering as it relates to process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and process controls.
