The Music Performance curriculum puts emphasis on building the necessary skills to develop a successful career as a performer in the 21st century. Performance majors will develop valuable real-world skills performing in large ensembles, chamber music groups and jazz/commercial music ensembles. Music performance students are required to complete two recitals, play in additional ensembles, and take additional courses in music theory, music history and music business beyond the standard music core curriculum.
