Coastal Carolina University’s E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration will hold an open house and information session about its new MBA program on Thursday, March 2 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Wall 332 on Coastal’s Conway campus.

The program began taking applicants on Jan. 1 with classes beginning in the fall 2006 semester. “This new degree demonstrates our continuing commitment to quality education programming that serves the needs of our students, the community and the region,” said David DeCenzo, dean of the Wall College.

The program was developed at the request of local business leaders, who are seeking employees with a graduate-level education. The MBA program will provide a curriculum that will allow students to seek both CPA certification and the MBA simultaneously.

Coastal also offers master’s degree programs in education and in coastal marine and wetland studies.
