For the first time ever, all summer courses (Maymester, Summer I, Summer II) at Coastal Carolina University will be completely online. Tuition will also be set at a flat summer online rate for everyone, whether they are in-state or out-of-state students.

That gives students more options, since previously many summer classes were only offered in the face-to-face format. A webpage has been created that will show students what courses are available in all of the University's five colleges and allow them to register. Information can be found at coastal.edu/summer.

Summer online classes give students the flexibility to work a part-time job, travel, or spend the summer in one's hometown while still making degree progress and earning or maintaining eligibility for scholarships and merit awards.

The summer study semesters are:

- Maymester: May 11-29

- Summer I: June 8-July 10

- Summer II: July 13-Aug. 7
